Jack and the Gentle Giant

Join us for a second year of our fantastic family performance series, Second Sunday Family Showtime. This year the performances will feature special receptions after the show each month! The performances start at 2 p.m. and are free for kids and a suggested donation of just $5 per adult.

On February 12, Jack and the Gentle Giant will take center stage at the CCAC. The show, presented by Madcap Puppets, is the sequel to the famous fairy tale. With a little help from his talking beanstalk, old Jack and his sons must tame the most despicable giant of them all. In this surprise-packed audience favorite, you will enter a world of towering tales where each giant is bigger than the last! Stories include: The Stone Giant (an Iroquois legend), The Heartless Giant (a folktale from the Czech Republic) and The Brave Little Tailor (a Brothers Grimm story from Germany).
