Uptown Leader Visits White House with Cincinnati Mayor, Contingency
On March 30, Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory invited a group of 25 Cincinnati business leaders to be hosted by the White House. Included in the leadership group was Uptown Consortium President and CEO Beth Robinson.
Senior White House officials included staff from the White House Business Council, the White House Office of Policy Development, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the National Economic Council, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the White House Task Force on Veterans and Military Families. Robinson’s constant concerns--public/private partnerships and job creation-- led her discussions with national leaders.
