Plans & Reports

In order to get a better sense of Uptown as a whole, including its strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, the Uptown Consortium retained nationally renowned real estate finance and economic-development consulting firm, Hamilton, Rabinovitz and Alschuler (HR&A) to complete a study of the Cincinnati neighborhoods in Uptown.

The Strategic Opportunity Plan represents the collective goals and aspirations of a community that is passionate about Uptown. It recognizes Uptown as a unique asset in the Greater Cincinnati region and draws upon its strengths, to make Uptown a great place to live, work and play.

The study identified the following areas where the Consortium shared needs and opportunities with the community:

  • public safety
  • transportation
  • housing
  • economic development
  • integrated social services for neighborhood residents
